Come see us at the Sequim Irrigation Festival at Crazy Callen Days on Sunday May 3rd, 2026.

We will be at our booth from 11am to 5pm. Come by to talk to our volunteers, board members, or other parents.

For children age 3 and up, we will be demoing string instruments in child sizes and letting the children try out their very first string instrument!

Sequim Community Orchestra will be presenting their 2026 Spring Concert, with pieces by Frescobaldi, Mozart, and Telemann.

Entrance is free. There will be a bake sale presented by the Peninsula Community Youth Orchestra to support our children’s programs.

Come join the PCYO to celebrate the end of the first year of our expanded program offerings at First United Methodist Church in Port Angeles at 4pm on Monday May 18th.

All children’s classes will be sharing their work with family and friends. The adult violin class will also be sharing their new skills.

Entrance is free.

We plan to hold an information gathering meeting February 15 at 2pm to discuss the upcoming 2026-2027 year of classes and events, and other items of interest to the youth orchestra.

Anyone interested in helping provide feedback, guide the program, teach students, or take on a leadership role is encouraged to attend.

This December, the Peninsula Community Youth Orchestra has organized a collection of short holiday family jams held across Clallam County taught by local musicians and private teachers playing easy beginner and intermediate holiday music. Each holiday jam will welcome up to 5 students, and coaches will invite students playing instruments they are personally familiar with, allowing family and friends to play along with beginner and intermediate string students on guitar, piano, or wind instruments as able. Any students of the appropriate age playing the appropriate instruments may sign up!
